***March Megalomania Poker Chat Thread***

Made a deposit to Bodog last night (I had removed all funds when I stopped playing there in Feb 08). I had forgotten just how great it is to play against so many truly horrible players. Typical FR tables were 50%+ VPIP with too many limpers to count. So many people who limp/call/fold to cbet. You can play for stacks with TPTK against a lot of these guys and feel pretty good about it. I played about 200 hands on 4 tables with no HUD (I guess I might have to use HEM there) and ran ~60BB/100.

yeah I think I need to go back to Bodog too, i deposited 25$ a couple months ago and turned it into like 700$ in 2 weeks from mtts only, maybe I'll try ring next....

its pretty -ev but if he wins he can pay me back or something? if he loses i dont care really. Games are so juicy in the evening it might actually be +ev if I can get there, for a high cost even.

So I can't win at 50nl officially now. I can't even look at the months E.F.D.S. results (Epic Fail Downswing Syndrome) anymore. I feel numb.

You *know* that's not true!


This is quite possibly the single hardest thing to do in the middle of a downswing, but I've been trying to work on never looking at the cashier or a HEM results most of the time during a session. I don't even want to think about it especially if I'm losing, I just want to focus on the next hand.

I do admit I probably look a little more if I'm up and that doesn't really tilt me any, but it *does* mean I'm looking away from the tables at something..which is in and of itself not great.

I know it's not easy but I'd try!

Been flirting with some very deep finishes in the last couple of months and aside from the FT in 9th last week in same tourney not managed to get there. My in the money this year is running at a crazy 25% but not in profit on the board (although in reality as I buy in to the $215 tournies with FPPs I'm actually up a bit).
