Hi everyone, I am new in the forum, I am mathematician and I have been working in mathematical paradox, here is my blog http://parrondoparadox.blogspot.co.uk/. I am looking for paradoxical situations in the Poker to make a deep study, I found things, like Morton's Theorem, Implicit Collusion or "all in" strategy,
could you help me to find more?,

There is the nash equalibrium and something called 'sage'.
There is also something to do with 'power index' which assigns a
numerical value to each card.
I don't know if this helps, good luck.

How about accepting a -ev situation to create a +ev situation in the future. Say 4 of the best players were playing a game with a max BI of $100,000. There were two huge fish in this game as well who had got lucky and were on $250,000 each. One of the pros could draw without correct odds (either pot or implied) yet that play will still be +ev because when he does win he will be very deep against two fish despite as an insolated incident being -ev.

thats old school poker for you.. id say the superior mathematical understanding of poker didnt happen until online poker boomed and math had to be used because reading opponents is severely handicapped.
