High Roller The Stu Ungar story is also a good one and I really enjoyed Mississippi Grind with Ryan Reynolds.

I agree with you, Maverick is also my favorite poker movie. In general, Mel Gibson is a very cool actor, I like almost all the films in which he starred. The film Maverick is a film that you can watch many times and never get tired of it. I really love comedies, especially Western ones. Jodie Foster also played her role very well, I really liked it. If anyone wants to cheer themselves up, I recommend watching this film. The films that were made in the 90s are much better quality than those that are made now.

Maverick's cool. My favorite movie is "The Grand ". I love this movie. It's too fkng funny and the back story for "the players" is hilarious. Everyone did a great job, even the poker celebs doing the cameos. Please check it out when you get the time. You won't regret it.

Marverick'cool, don't watch this film, I'll try to see it in the next few days... But speaking of Mel Gibson, the film is certainly great.
Good films are associated with great actors and great producers.

I've watched this movie for a long time, and I honestly don't even know what it's called. But the film is quite interesting and old. Of all the movies I've seen about card games, I guess I can give this movie first place.

Maverick is definitely one of the best movies, but in my opinion there are a few more that are definitely worth watching at least once.
The Cincinnati Kid
Rounders
Shade
Lucky You
Molly's Game

Definitely agree with The Cincinnati Kid as being the ultimate poker movie. It plays like a Bond movie. Steve McQueen gets both girls ( the good one and the bad one ) he almost kills a guy with a razor blade to the throat, and there is even a real **** fighting scene. It is completely immersed in the poker world and is set in no less than New Orleans. Steve McQueen shows why he is considered the coolest kid in school and Edward G Robinson is the ultimate reigning champion since Jacky Gleason playing Minnesota Fats.
If you haven't seen it then shame on you.
You can throw around all your Maverick, 21, Molly's Game and even Rounders ( my second love) but The Cincinnati Kid will always be a untouchable classic.
