Are men superior to women in poker?

Obviously, statistically more men than women play poker. Therefore, it seems that only men won all the victories. But I believe that in reality, men and women have the same achievements.

I believe that there have been around 23 women who have won wsop bracelets in open events. You should at least get your story straight before insulting women...Wait I have a better idea, get out of the stone age and have respect for people based on something other than what sex they are.

Pathetic though it is to relate, Andrew then received numerous complaints about featuring a women on his vlog - a women that is, who is a bona fide world class player.

I use this to simply point to a level of anti-women bias that exists within the poker world, which in 2019 is truly pathetic.

Neeme got a lot of hate when he featured Marle, not Kristin.

This subject goes no where and is based on nothing significant. Reading through the responses hasn't provided much. Only reason is there are not many women playing compared to men.

It doesn't make one gender any better than the other. Just makes the OP seem like a douchebag. Kind of ironic, don't you think?

Women are starting to join the game more and more frequently. At my local casino, the last tournament I played it had 25% women and they all made the money. For you to say that men are just better at it because they are men is just ignorant and stupid.

This is funny to me. First of all if I was a woman I would attempt to perpetuate the belief that men are better simply to use that edge against them (or us since I am male).

And I forget the pro but he said something to the effect of "...if you are a woman and are a competent poker player you have an automatic edge, given the stereotype perpetuated on the tables..."

At the same time i deeply disagree with you badia , in the FRC most of the club players by far are mans and somehow a women won the most points ( that she did aquire winning the games ) it was isa ! you know the level it requires to be at the top after months of daily game in games where a minimum of 80% of the players are man ? she was playing vs mans and vs variance and still did beat both

so i wouldnt take them litghtly if you ask me :captain:

just men much more. a lot of women play pretty well. they have more patience. But if you compare the major tournaments, the ratio to the beautiful half is not rosy. For them it is akin to a Freeroll, where everyone tries to kick out at an early stage.

men are smarter, handsomer, stronger, better cooks then women, men are better in sports, men just rule the world.

Women get along with men at swimming.
Thats because we have more muscles then women, muscles are heavy.

Also women have a higher fat percentage at their body, so the float a little in the water.

One could argue that males are shown to be better at math than females & therefore 'might' have a small advantage at poker.... but OP (badia.. followed by multiple numbers) proves this wrong as he is unable to even count how many WSOP bracelets have been won by women. OP, fwiw, 7 women have won 'multiple' bracelets.
