When I play these satellites, I play them to get the ticket, I don`t care about the very small prices you can get at the positions just before the tickets! It is useless!:fight:

I have done this several times. Another conversation is that this is not always the case.
The most memorable event I had was the last stage (I don't remember the 3rd or 4th stage) for a $ 215 (possibly more expensive) buy-in tournament. And I tried to get knocked out fourth and get the money, but I went further and in the main tournament I was left without ITM, knocking out on the bubble.

If I can recall correctly there was a step 3 or step 4 in ACR the Venom tournament?!The ticket was the next step but the monetary prize was very tempting compared to my bankroll. It is risky but if you have zero interest to play the target tournament or if it is full of professionals?I don't know.

I didn't even try to take the cash instead of the ticket but I would be OK with that, I proceed to the next step but unfortunately I didn't make it further.

Hi everyone.Well, I played some of those games on Party Poker.I had a free $5 ticket to play the next step to qualify for a live event.I did prefer the money because it was a good cash(almost $30) and the ticket was about $44, and also because I had no time to play the next step .That was the one I remember the most but I won more money using my free tickets.

No, that kind of play is garbage. You should always play to win, or at least cash. Why join a satellite if you aren't trying to win? Makes no sense at all

Hi, usually, yes, I try to get cash and not a ticket, because if I get a ticket I will have to play hard again and hope for good luck, and if there is an opportunity to take the money right away why not.

Had ticket today to some 25€ satellite ... reached FT so tried to finish on that place which gave 23€ - sadly this plan failed cause i won this satellite lol ...
