The Mood

Do you sometimes find that you have to sit for an hour or so b4 you start winning at the tables, I find that I have to suffer a coulp of losses b4 I find myself in the right mood.
Don't get me wrong, I'm always in the mood to play but I have to play for about an hour b4 my mind realizes proper card selection.
After reading this I realize that I may be the only one who goes this, just thought I'd put this out there as an observation of myself, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Well from my own experience I do the same thing but I don't wait an hour I wait till the next day. If I'm not getting the cards going my way I have to get out after an hr or 2 of play. I believe my mood has everything to do with my effect on the game, for example if I'm in a pissy mood then I tend to call pissy bets lol.

I think it really is not a matter of mood. If it is tourney people tend to play a little wild early since the blinds are low and in that time your card selection is poor and believe it or not that aids your image so when you do tighten up you get action. As for a cash game I think that it’s just a matter of getting into a few dicey situations early for little amounts of money that allows you to get to know the table.

As for me I am either a god or the bubble boy. The mood or zone or whatever you call it goes up and down personally with me its more by month then by day to day.
