No Limit Hold'em is now the most popular and I think it is easiest to study. Most of the largest poker tournament series is held in the format of no-limit hold'em.Therefore, I think it is promising No Limit Hold'em.

Yup - NLH is currently without question the most popular game at the moment. Apparently it used to be an unpopular game compared to the other poker variants.
The reason for it's popularity would probably be due to televised poker events and the fact that it's a pretty simplistic game.
Fundamentally speaking of course because as we all know the game is very, very complex. lol.

Who knows though? Maybe in the future the more popular game will be a different or maybe even a new poker variant?

I agree with you, I think, will come with a new form of poker, and it will become even more popular;)

PLO didn't grow as much as people expected it to, so I don't expect it to overtake NLH in the future.

NLH. One other reason for the popularity of this form of poker is that hands hold up more often that in other forms of poker, thus less bad beats that you would have in PLO, for example.

deff NLH. Would be nice to see some televised events of other games, but its probably not likely due to lack of popularity / ratings.

No limit holdem is definately the most "promising" game , it's the one everyone knows how to play, wether they're good or bad. It's an easy game to learn but extremely hard to master.

Omaha is definately gaining more popularity, but it will never be as popular as hold'em, however definately worth having a look at, theres more then enough Omaha players to make a career out of it, if you prefer it and you're good at it.
