I thought I'd post this as nobody in my normal life will probably give a monkey's and I need to get it off my chest.

Firstly let me say that I play poker for the enjoyment and the winning secondary, If I played to be a winning player i'd probably not enjoy it as much(I hope that makes sense). I have played live about 8 times in the last year, all MTT's with a £30 buy in(approx $60) at my local casino and despite cashing only once I have this hunger just to play live more often, despite having a young family and only being able to afford to go once every couple of months.

I used to play on-line dailly and will admit to being a losing player overall, but in the 3 years of on-line play i've only lost approx £50.

Anyway my point is that I don't feel motivated to play on-line ATM, purely due to a recent buzz of playing live. Infact I am itching to play poker at my normal times but just not online.

I don't feel addicted or anything I just needed to vent that I have a strong desire to play live now despite knowing it will be a month or so before I can again and on-line play is no longer cutting the mustard.

Thanks for listening.

Sounds like you're playing within your means and if you've only lost 50 pounds then you're only losing to the rake not other players. I would say continuing to play online (and frequenting cardschat) could help you become a winning player and then you could play a little more often live.
Good Luck ;).
