For me tournaments for sure.
But a solid cash game play will help a lot in tournaments play.

I like both but I play more tournaments although I want to play more cash again.

My opinion is that cash games are a billion times better than tournaments, especially with the advent of online tournaments having 3 hours of late registration and unlimited rebuys. The skill has been sucked out of these tournaments. Cash games you can come and go as you please. Rewards are immediate. If you take a bad beat, you're session isn't over. The best players in the world play more cash than tournament because that's where the profit is.

I think I like tournaments better, I feel that in cash I lose very quickly and I like fun not only to make money, but to win money would also be good... ajsjajs

I prefer tournaments. I'm not good at cash games; I only lose when I play this game.

I enjoy tournaments for the thrill and structure, but cash games feel more stable and flexible. What format do you like more, and why?
There is not much difference between tournament poker and cash games, in both cases the goal is to win the hand, and the more you win the more you get. In cash games it will simply be x2-x5, but in tournament poker it can be much more.

Gosto de torneios pela emoção e pela estrutura, mas os cash games parecem mais estáveis e flexíveis. Qual formato você prefere e por quê?
I prefer tournaments for safety

I would like to play more cash but for me it's a better tournament

Prefiro torneios. Gosto da estrutura, da emoção de subir de nível e da chance de transformar um pequeno buy-in em uma grande vitória. Boa sorte nas mesas.
Is that true

PI prefer tournaments, money if you don't have a good mentality you end up losing a lot.

I definitely prefer tournaments. I like the structure, the changing dynamics as blinds go up, and the fact that every decision feels like it carries more weight. There’s also something satisfying about surviving through the stages and making a deep run — it’s a different kind of thrill compared to grinding cash games. Plus, I enjoy the strategy shifts required at different stack depths and table sizes; it keeps things fresh and challenging.

Good morning everyone, I started playing in 2018, and based on my experience, I can say that I prefer MTTs to make money, and I play cash games for fun, because making money with cash games is much harder.

In MTT, you can win $1 in MTT and win $250, but winning $250 with cash games is much harder.

I have this idea, most people are suited to cash games or sit n go because that's what really makes money for the majority. But a lot of people still like to play tours because when you win a tour it feels like you've conquered something really great.

Hi ! I prefer tournaments , because feeling more comfortable and its nice to play . Cash games i dont like .

Just wandering, do you guys prefer playing cash games or tournaments. Sometimes I find tournaments are so long and you might not see any results. You try to build a stack, then get it all in jacks versus queen and there goes your hard work of 7 hours. You basically win or lose on a coin flip so it can be very annoying. At least in cash games you ocasionally win some hands.

I prefer playing tournaments; cash games seem repetitive to me, and that’s why I don’t like playing that format.

I prefer tournaments. I feel like it is much more fun! To see yourself climb and be on top of hundreds and thousands of other players is a crazy experience

only ever tournaments online and i've only played cash in person (not by choice just opportunity)
