Other night I listened to music with one earbud in at live game, which was first time I ever did that at casino and I decided to try it mostly because I was super card dead and then had back to back brutal rivers (one stacked me after a gut shot suck out), reload, and next hand river a flush only to have someone have their 43 runner runner into a boat but fortunately that one was only for a small pot but still. I turned on some down tempo electronica (Emancipator) and it def helped me stay mellow and focused in the face of just really whiffing every flop, missing draws, or getting out drawn for hours. Ended as a losing session but overall felt good with my play and the music I think helped keep me even keeled in the face of just a brutal session.
