I tend to listen to the Cars Bye Bye Love over and over.

I was watching Dutch Boyd's poker stream on Twitch one day and I asked him if he knew what Phil Hellmuth listens to since I figured he has played with him.

He goes 'yes, I do Rainclown - he listens to Eye of the Tiger looped'

So - eh - who knows.

I was listening to 'Doctor Lawyer Lutheran' from the movie Catch Me If You Can soundtrack looped for a year or so when playing. That's not bad.

In general though I find music can influence my thinking in a bad way - in that I might play a hand based on how I'm feeling reacting to the music etc.

So anymore I try not to listen to anything but that John Cage piece- which is one giant rest for 5 minutes and some odd seconds, just silence - looped.

I do not listening music , when I play poker , because this distract me, but when I win tournament I listen "We are the Champions" Freddie Mercury.

I listen only to foreign performers. I make myself a general music on the player from the list of my many performers.
music in poker does not distract me at all, but rather it's just a screen in which I think
basically haddavey, bon jovi, def leppard and many more

Indeed, the music helps to play poker a little better than you can. It's proven fact. At least not for me.

When I play long tournaments, I listen to calm music at early stages. At the late stages, however, I listen to fast music, such as Rock or Rock n Roll, in order not to fall asleep or lose concentration.

Trance and progressive. Moderate to fast pace, minimal vocals and always uplifting. This is perfect for poker.

I don’t like music on when I’m playing, if a song I like comes on I can get distracted and not play a good hand so I like the quiet and maytjust chatting with people at the table

Music distracts me and I can not hear what my opponents might me saying at the table while in a hand or about a hand they played.
While playing online I am either here on CC or just listening to the TV.

I also prefer to play listening to music but sometimes I feel more anxious and putting more emotion in the hands played.

At the same time, in silence, I can not play cautiously in all the spots.
I believe I'm refreshing my mind and habits. One day I will still have a better concentration.
