You have to choose the music style with how you want to play.
Hard to play a chill, passive style with thrash metal blasting or keep the pressure on the table with an aggressive play style if you have easy listening on.

Give it a try with some lounge music.. I may sound weird, but it relaxes you while playing and does not take your focus away

When I play I love listening to techno or melodic techno, my favorite artist is Miss Monique, Tale of us, and more.
Listening to that music that has no lyrics concentrates on the cards

I listen to a lot of music, I like it a lot, but incredibly I prefer to play without listening to any music.

I always watch people playing and listening to music, I tried several times, I tried everything, rock, electronic music, but it seems like my concentration worsens and I lose focus.

It may just be a matter of adaptation, but for now I prefer to play without hearing anything.

During the game, I listen mainly to trance - Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond. If I'm nervous or tilt, then I immediately switch to Mozart's symphonies, it helps to calm down and clear my head. I also read that psychologists advise choosing well-known compositions if you want them to give you strength and self-confidence. The soul should sing to such music better if it is music, during which something good happened to you.

I’m In between with it, if I would listen to something then definitely something more on the instrumental side.
I do feel as if listening to music with lyrics in some way deviates my focus.
I don’t mind a bit of hip-hop here and there but I’d probably go for some more chilled out deep house, tech house... something along them lines.

I listen to happy music, which helps me to relax my nerves to play and it is my cabal to win haha. I don't have a particular style of music, but certain themes have helped me in victories ahah
