Since I only play online, I like total silence. Music takes away my concentration. In fact, any form of sound takes away my concentration. I prefer to play poker in silence. This way I can concentrate better and the results are excellent for me.

I don't listen to any music as I would find it distracting. Also, I find using headphones whilst playing and listening to the sounds other players make while playing can give away some information. Like if they sound hesitant, confident or if they are trying to make you fold (when bluffing).
