Never heard of Holdem Genius, will check that out.

I suppose Poker Tracker or Holdem Manager are the obvious choices if you are looking to take the game seriously. You could download the poker tracker trial to see if you feel its worth forking out for, the HUD can be useful but you need to know how to interperate the stats it shows.

Btw isnt poker stove available for free?

I didn't know Holdem Genius.

The must have tools are Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker 3. These are not odd calculators software, but tracking software. You'll have plenty of stats on your opponents play and your own play, ability to replay your hands, etc...

If you just want an odd calculator, best softwares are Holdem Indicator and Tournament Indicator

Is pokertracker3 100% accepted by the gaming sites? How about tournament indicator?

I just bought PT3 and have it ready to go but I am afraid my account will be frozen if I use it during play.

And I just looked up Tournament indicator and love the videos. I will buy it in a second if it is legit to use.

Yes it definitely is.
Regardless of what site you play you will never have your account suspended for using pokertracker.

HEM and propokertools.com.

I'd imagine a sng tool would be good for those that play them too. I think you can get sngegt for free now as it's no longer a real time App.

Hmm... I never really got into using any of these besides pokeredge for the free trial... which looking back on was probably the main reason for my success back in the day.

Here is my list of poker tools:
Computer, screen, wireless head phones, keyboard and a mouse.
The wireless head phones are great when you play and cook at the same time, or when on a break.
