Hi All,

as you get deeper in tourneys and come up against better players in most cases, generally we all as a rule need to be able to switch gears and look at our opening hand ranges when called upon.

Do you therefore have a particular (non premium) starting hole card pairing that seems to work for you, maybe you have a story behind that like the 10 2 that Doyle Brunson once sported..if so - i would be interested to know your story..

I have had a fair bit of success over the years with 45 of clubs just to kick off with but again this does not have to be suited...

idk which for sure because I like the premium hands so much :D

Perhaps Ah 9c as that is what I remember my last hand being in the cardschat 30 Day course freeroll :cool:

hand 88, with this hand I usually have the biggest wins and losses.

Yeah I can never decide between 10js and 89s as less lightly to clash with premium hands with the 89.

It's been a while since I even tried to play with such hands. It was a long time when I was 48 when I played this hand that I was the winning hand most of the time. There was a lot of luck involved and when I started reading a little about poker I realized that luck shouldn't be relied on. It is part of the game but it is not where it only matters. It can now also happen that I play 48 but that depends entirely on the circumstances.

When I first started playing poker I always like to play Q9 (regardless of being suited or not), I always had good fortune with this hand, not anymore in recent days, but yeah, Q9 always had me smiling because I was about to pwn some noobs out of their change :)

Small PP

I like small pocket pairs because they are easy to play. If I don't hit a set on the flop then I just fold to any bet.

Fortunately, I do not have a favorite junk. :D
And I think that's why I have good results. Of course, there are situations when we just have to play even with junk, but in such cases, there is rarely a happy end.

No , I o not have a not premium hand that i might like , casue apparently I do not know how to win with it , most of the times i play premium hands , he non premium seem to be cursed against me

In my case it is 2,3s or 3,4s or 4,5s. I noticed that I am often lucky with such cards.

my favorite non-premium hands that i like calling and see flops are 5-7 and 8-6 , i don't know and i don't have a reason , but every time i am down and i play this hands it hits me :)
