The bubble is in my humble opinion one of my favorite stages of the tournament to play , especially if you have a big stack . At this stage of the tournament, the losse aggressive players shine. If you have ever seen a
wsop dvd , main event show on espn , or read a book on how people play the bubble , you will see why . This is the reason why people like Phil Ivey crush players at tournaments. When you are in the bubble it means, you are near the money and some players just feel the need to make it to the payout, even if its a disgusting small payout, even if its the same as their buy in. Being on the money is like a life goal and they chicken out, and fold , fold , fold . This is where the beauty comes in , this is where being aggressive paysout. Many players are against this as you might bubble, but so what , i prefer going into the final table, where the payout is much higher, with a good chip stack to win it all and make some money , then to survive and get a messy buy in . Have you ever seen Phil Ivey in the bubble, if you let him, he will raise every, every hand take those blinds and build his stack and you know why it works. Simple, people want to survive, they dont want to losse, and you can take blinds after blinds .

You need to take advantage of this . Yes you will bubble sometimes, but in the long run, winning a single tournament ( 1st place ) will be more profitable than making it to the money away from the final table ^_^
