Is this one of the netbooks? If so, could you send me a PM? I have a couple of questions about them.

I am about to get a new one and I am going to downsize - but not that much lol.

My current laptop is a 17' and I love it - but when I travel it is just too heavy. So will try to find a 15-16".

I have a 17' too, and with a backpack it's very practical, and not so heavy :)

I love mini laptops like yours jordanbillie, but not really for poker, I would probably not feel confortable with such a small screen

Yeah I figured it was a joke but I guess some people really can stand playing poker on something so damn small!

I could almost understand one poker table on that small PC, but multi-tabling on it? + A HuD?

......

Oh no sir. You are relatively new so I will cut you some slack.

I have mentioned numerous times that I am against HUDs. I could get into a huge rant about them, but I will just leave it at that.

Just remember jordanbillie = no HUD :p

Mainly was talking about myself trying to use that, cause we already know your fine with it lol.

What do you have against HUDS? Unless you have super good memory, its hard to read online players without one..

I would assume you only play 2 tables max on that?
I think 14" is optimal for play on the go.

I also have a netbook and yes 2 max is all you can play. I registered for 4 online sng's and then had to switch to laptop because I couldn't do a 4 game screen on it.

That's very small but it seems you have good ram & it's very portable which is always a plus.

My laptop is 21" w/ decent ram (2 good things) but is very heavy & it's definitely NOT portable (2 bad things) because of the weight & size. It's lasted me 2 years (so far) & I hope for another couple years out of it.

If yours had a bigger screen, I'd say it would be near perfect for me.

GL w/ your new laptop :top:

Seems mighty small, if it works for you is all that counts, I use a 17" laptop myself, I can sit back and use it comfortably

Not exactly a "beast" but nice laptop. :D

Well, it's a beast compared to my my 5 year old desktop, which was also loaded when I got it. :D It doesn't have a killer video/graphics card (which adds several $100s) - which is fine, not into 'gaming'. Not many bells & whistles either (does have a webcam though), but its bare bones is as quick and storage loaded as anything you'll find remotely in its price range. The T6600 processor speed is very noticeable.

Thats a mice machine. I have a Toshiba Sat. and like it a lot. It is actually my second one. The 19" is bulky to travel with. Maybe I'll use my huge poker winnings to buy a petite travel laptop like that!!!

yeah i really think that full tilt should do something with their table size also when you adjust the size of the table/window it makes the graphics much worst to the point where you can see the individual pixels. Im sure a company as big as full tilt poker should be able to afford people to fix the graphics of the gaming software. Also i dont like the fact that it is hard to navigate 6+ different screens even when you have them cascading it still sucks and the other views as well because they are so small and you can barely see what is happening. Anyways Im drifting off the topic yeah I think those minis look cool but for me I dont like small laptops i like the opposite I want the biggest laptops out there. Unfornately they cost much more. Im thinking of getting a new laptop within this year. I want to get a macbook since all my friends have one and I've used their laptops and found that it is much better than windows pc. The only downside is the cost of the laptop even the smallest cheapest laptops for macs are $1000. But a good thing is that macs have microsoft now I heard that they don't come with microsoft but i assume they made a deal with microsoft to use their software.

Also the post above me did you say you have a 21'' screen laptop OMG that is huge lol.

It looks small. My laptop has a 17" screen and I think that is small. Good luck. I hope it brings you lots of it.

If you want to get really serious get a nice desktop and 2 screens. Lol, I've seen a couple guys who have done that. They didn't really like to put the tables one behind the other.

I just bought a compaq mini (I hate compaqs, but it was $150 brand new) 10.1" netbook. I like it. Has xp which annoys me, but it's quick and has strong wireless support+full size keyboard.
