Poker doesn’t need to be romanticized with crime and grit to make a great story..

Poker to me isn’t like this at all so just by the trailer alone, it’s almost disrespectful to the game of playing poker IMO.

We all have different views of the game, nothing in this trailer feels like poker to me lol...but I am looking at it from my perspective of playing poker, not from a drama and gritty perspective with poker added to make an interesting drama movie.

If people have the freedom to make a movie that is gritty based around poker, I have the freedom to say it’s bullshit from a poker players perspective, again this is just my view and perspective.

I shouldn’t be so critical it and could be a great movie, but just by those points alone for me, I am just turned off. Otherwise it looks like a good crime type drama movie that is well made.
