Turned the tv on just in time to see Greg Merson win!! What an epic final table and 3-handed table this year. It was slow but very good to watch. I hated going to bed last night.

Bizarre.

They play for 11 hours 3 handed, min-raising everything, then after ~10 hands or less HU, they go all in with pretty marginal hands Kd5d vs QsJs.

I wonder if they were both "on tilt" / exhausted / fed up, from the marathon ?

Maybe they agreed to chop ? :D

Has to be the longest "sporting" event ever televised. The Olympics coverage per day was maybe as long, but not just one event.

Couldn't have picked a better guy to win it. I know I have said it before but his composure when he takes a beat is really striking. I enjoyed watching him. Congrats Greg!
