*The biggest thing to me, besides the ultimate betrayal the greedy winch did, is her saying she felt bad but didn't want to get screwed over again. If that's the case, the sole reason she did it and not out of greed then why not give him his fair share afterwards or ask the producers to write half the check out to him?

Yup. I knew it was from The Selfish Gene and I knew that it was published in the 70s and I couldn't be bothered looking up the exact year so I went for "the 70s"

Lost my internet as soon as i started grinding on stars last night, so made a few calls and found a bar game going off, basically nl€100 so i went to that.

AA first hand, stack off 100bb deep vs KK he rivers a king, sucks. That was the last beat I got though and went on a massive heater. Very next hand, I raise 55 from MP, get 2 calls to a 55A flop, and I stack AK

So 300bb deep I get aces again, and get in vs QQ and hold . Hand of the night was a limped pot, with the host on tilt and pissed as a fart (doing daft stuff like 3bet shoving 52o, he was hitting flops all over the place though) I check the BB with A8, flop is 88A. We get ~320bb in on the turn, he tables K8 and is drawing dead.

Yea nice night. Feels great to go on a super heater.

What I MEAN though is the "meme" concept might have been cool for sociologists or linguists to throw around in the late seventies, but it seems to meme (I can't help it) that the concept didn't really PEAK into the mass consciousness of the average Joe, thus becoming a meme itself, until around the time "Chocolate Rain" came out.



I guess technically any idea is a meme, though I thought generally we refer to ideas that have reached some level of viral magnitude first as memes.

Active and inactive is one thing but I don't think logging in everyday can really qualify as "leaving." It's like the barkeep closing the bar and telling everyone to leave, and thinking that it's okay to sit still as long as you're quiet.

Im about 2 hourd into an aussie millions freeroll sattelite on fulltilt, All has been going well with my strategy of shoving AJ+ and any top pair after the flop, I got up to about 7th in chips at a table where everyone was around average, I had about 5 times the amount of chips that second had. I then get moved to another table. Look whos sitting on my left, its the chip leader with about twice my stack!!

So there gos that strategy, looks like ill be sitting tight until I get to the money...

Against a 34/11 with 3.8 aggro e.g a gambler. Most of the hands are from full ring so I know he's loose. The table scatters and i'm left with him but I like playing short handed against full ringers as they get very bad.

Anyone reckon I can get all the money in? I think I coulda been more aggressive on the flop.
