I mean for example I've been around 20+ years in the micro/low stakes cash pools and micro-higher stakes MTT player pools on Pokerstars and unless someone has sat with me at the table or has bought datamined hands none of them know how I play and have zero clue if I'm a winning player or close to how much I've won over time. Even if they have sat with me how many hands do they really have on me as I'm only a rec/hobby player and don't grind for hours daily. Anyone back when I did grind for hours daily(another life time ago)....aren't many of them around from way back then anymore. I like and love basically being an unknown when I sit at the tables. The only real reason I can see to wanna be part of a time is staking. Building your own bankroll can be quite tedious, slow and require a lot patience. And bouncing ideas, possible exploits and discussing strategy are a plus too you really don't need a team for that me a buddy of mine use to do those things all time and greatly helped each other develop our live game back when we both started to go from online and play some live at the casino. we didn't really consider our self's a team though as we didn't share profits, bankroll or stake each other.
