Who is the best poker player in 2018?

I think Daniel Negreanu is the best poker player. Given the popularity of poker, I think that in the near future there will be new poker stars, and in my opinion it is great, because our favorite game is constantly progressing.

Many opinions but looking at the world series of poker is Shaun Deeb or Joe Cada each with 2 Bracelets but Shaun Deeb hay more Final Tables by far, so the Best is:

There are so many good players online and live that are crushing the scene that it's hard to name a singular best player. The top player at the moment in my opinion is Ike Haxton. He's ranked highly on the GPI and recently crushed in the Super High Roller bowl. He's always been a monster online and live, and he has been doing fantastic recently!

How do you even define best player? Tournaments? Cash games? Overall winnings? Ability to make "big plays"?

There's too many factors to actually provide a definite "best player in the world".
