Would love to play poker friends or go to long planned casino trip, but this situation only allows me to sit by the computer. Definitely would chose live poker over online one. Stay safe all.

I would love to play poker with other players at the same table, go to the casino, but the current situation is such that we have to stick to the computer to be able to play. Certainly, live poker is something completely different from online poker.

Hello, I think it is excellent progress. I need to know how we disinfect cards and chips, since it is in constant contact between dealer and players.

For nonifected players only...:D

Online poker

Online poker is the future of poker. Although, playing at live tables is much more interesting. Especially if a woman is playing at the table.

I have very limited opportunities to play live as the casino which had live game in my city closed in january and after that the quarantine hit. Online i play much more regularly and have around 60$ earned. Saying that my biggest win of around 450$ was in a live tournament where i got really lucky.

I think online is, since you can multi-table, and play while doing other things. I think live poker is more fun. More pure. The interaction with people, and the actual going out and doing something in the "real" world.

I've only played online, but I'd like to try it myself into live poker :) I think there's a big difference between online and live poker.

I dig live poker for a few reason and online for others.

Live Pros - Shorter LR times, less players, environment and a sense of camaraderie
Live Cons - Higher buy-ins, only 1-2 tourneys a day, more distractions, traffic, parking, after tourney money traps (you are in a casino afterall), covid/health and safety

Onine Pros - Almost unlimited options, low buy-ins, comfort of being home, anonymity, huds/stats access, health and safety.
Online Cons - Bots, Crashes, Withdraw lags, ID Theft, somewhat illegal or at least frowned on enough to be somewhat prohibitive (bank/cc issues, bitcoin/crypto fees and issues, almost too many options.

I am definitely an online player but since covid I have to admit that im looking forward to hitting some live tourneys in the coming weeks when its safe to do so.

100% emotion....

I have played in live tournaments, but with few players, but with many or with few players, the emotion must be the same and much more when one reaches the bubble. Live you can get to know the players much more, because you can know some gestures or attitudes, instead online, you don't know who you are dealing with, but there is still excitement when you get paid.:):):D;)

.

I prefer live poker, I feel more resourceful, more in-game. Online poker also has its advantage, speed, practicality ... a little of each!

I've played live amateur sessions only 3 times. There were a lot of beginners who couldn't play poker at all, so I didn't like it.But I should say that despite some experience of playing online poker, my hands were shaking :D

I prefer live poker because you can have a better reading of the players at your table.

Too bad everything has stopped now

I get more excited playing live poker. But the plus side of online poker is that is a more relaxing setup and you can play multiple games.

Offline poker is more interesting, but the game is slow, you play few hands, because if you want to win, then you need to play the limit is quite high. Online poker is good, because you can play from home and play many games at once (tournaments, cash)
