Online Poker VS Live Poker?

What do you like or prefer more? Online or live poker?

In the past I preferred the live games. I found it a lot more fun to meet the challenges of trying to get a read on the other players while doing my best to make it difficult for them to read me. I guess you could add that live play in a casino tournament was a little more exciting. Now that I am older I prefer on line games because my bathroom is steps away lol. I can also use my computer to make notes or read past notes on players I've encountered before. And then there's home cooking. Did I mention the bathroom being close? lol

Hi.
I play poker, only at home, in the evenings, after work. I do not really have time to play live. On average, I play poker for about 3 hours a day, 3-4 days a week.

I prefer online poker. I have little free time available. Live poker would make it difficult for me to manage my free time.

Mainly because you aren't bound to any sort of etiquette and can cope in any sort of fashion as you please.

Really what I prefer the most is live, they are other sensations, another area, other players, but the bad thing is that I do not have the possibility to play it continuously, neither at the times that I have nor close to home, therefore, today for Today I prefer online hehe

I prefer tom play online. So much more relaxing to play at home, with alot of for more hands pr hour. But, when im once or twice a year play live, I love it! But would not do it the other way

I think online poker will never compare to live poker. Live poker requires a lot more skills and watching a live game is always more interesting. And of course, bad beats will always be less in live poker.

Overall online is more practical playing poker from the comfort of your own home its hassle free but i do miss live poker its a lot more sociable some good banter ,its nice to have a beer and a laugh at a poker table instead of staring at a screen..

Live poker is better. Online poker randomness is questionable.

Online poker is preferable because the game is faster, the number of chips is visible, you can sit at the computer in your pajamas, you don't need to train poker face.

I used to love to play in casinos.. I would go with some friends and family and we would do other things beside gamble wherever we went. But now that Im sorta like stuck at home. I have been playing online a lot and I really love it. I think I like it more than live. I can sit at home and not have to listen to all the noise thats usually near the poker rooms and I can wear anything I please..My fav PJs and slippers...And I can just pull my hair up and get really comfy...So its online poker for me!!! My fave site is AMERICAS CARDROOM for sure !

It's personally for everyone I think. Live poker more interesting and emotional ))) But for gambling online poker give a lot tournaments, opponents and you can decide when you want to play.

I have played live only twice, mean against unknowns, in a live poker room, once tourney, once CG. The tourney was good, I definitely would play live tourney, if it would be worthy for me, could afford playing. (It is not about winnings, more likely the limits, I play on. Micro, low stakes.) Even this one was just 8-10$ reg cost, it was still more about fun, than winning money, small field~200 reg tourney.

Online, I get many options on these limits, playing tourneys, so I do not really
have options. No extra costs, except energy bill, few broken mouse, I can play from my cellar...

In our country, almost everywhere offline poker for money is prohibited, but we are going to meet with friends and this is a very interesting time spent, but online poker is more practical and you can play every day and at many tables, and then it is wonderful)
