I used to say I would rather play live but over the years I have noticed that I like playing online just as much because of the convience. I do love live poker for the social aspect of it and what u gain in terms of facial expressions,body language ect.I suppose the answer for me would be online because that's what I do the most.

Live is boring so people play far wider range of hands that no one would play online anymore except freerolls. Nearly every game is full ring, which is also the opposite of online, so hitting flops much more important than pre-flop play. Players are more passive live and most don't understand proper bet sizing so drawing hands and implied odds are more important. Much higher rake plus tips in live play help to even out the softer play. Far less hands raises variance quite a bit.

I think you get much more donkish play at low and medium stakes for the simple fact that anyone with a hundred bucks on a credit card can get online and pretend they are Phil Ivey. Where to do it live they need to actually make an effort to go to the casino as opposed to sitting at home surfing the web and deciding "I'm going to play some poker"

There is not many differences between playing online and live with people. Playing online is more like playing against perfect pokerface opponents.

Live it's more easy to make bluffs, you put a lot of pressure on your opponent, online it's just meh.. even without nothing they'll call your all in and your fcked with a biggest kicker
