does anybody let online results affect ur live play? i cant get a hand to hold online and they always seem to have it. so when playing live i let that come into play
its been literally years and years and i can never get a hand to hold.....always some runner runner bullshit....convinced its rigged for action
i can get it in good and lose almost every time....so that affects my live play bc i think they have it every time

fyi: i dont play much online anymore

I don't let the online play change my real life play. I do play pretty similar both ways though. I understand what you are saying about the runner runner thing, I do find that people hit runner runner against me more often than they should. I can only think of 1 time that I was the guy to hit runner runner against someone

Also, the worst bad beat I've ever seen wasn't online. It was in a real life tourney. Flop was AAJ. Guy pushed all in with his AJ, someone CALLED him with 33. Hit runner runner 33 for the 4 of a kind

Hello brother
The situations of the online game also occur in the live game.
I think that if the runners' situation hurts you, maybe it's because you base your game on a very light juice. Perhaps your game is one of many who think that because they have a top pair on the flop with the best kicker they have the winning hand.
Someone who used to think like this tells you, and in truth things didn't turn out too well for him.
When I started to improve my game, especially studying the game, that's when my game began to bear fruit.
Maybe in that instance you will have to improve.
It's just a humble constructive criticism.
My regards, brother:):):)

The math does not change between live and online.

The difference is that there are live tells and you cant multi-table live.

I prefer playing online nowadays. Online game doesn't change my live game although I talk a lot during live games and cannot do that online :)

I only play online. The main advantages of playing online for me are, first of all, convenience. I play at home, in a calm environment, and in general, my results suit me. Of course, annoying situations happen, but this is poker, especially online poker, so I don't get too upset :)

good brother
maybe the situation is understanding the losing streaks or trying to reduce the variance.
I've been playing poker for a long time, and I don't always lose. I already have my bad streaks, but I try to make up for them.
You can have an iTM miss streak of 15 tournaments in a row, but you will never have a iTM miss streak of 100 tournaments in a row.
There will always be variance in poker, but if this is already very important in negative favor, maybe you should consider asking one of our Cardschat PRO players why that happens with you.
For that matter, bankroll management is also very important.
For example, if your bankroll is $100, and you play $5 tournaments, you have 20 shots to find a prize or itm, a situation that can reduce your variance considerably, because it is likely that you will have a losing streak. 20 tournaments and your bankroll is in shambles.
But if you use that bankroll to play $1 tournaments you will have 100 shots, and there it is very difficult for you to have a losing streak of 100 tournaments.
In poker you have to reduce the variance to the maximum, to consider achieving a stable bankroll.
greetings brother, and I hope you solve your problem soon:):):)

Live is fun but is slower and can be expensive (if you have to travel). Online anytime anywhere any clothing, vent or celebrate as much as you want, eat anytime anything, go to the john without missing a hand, In short way more convenient and you see more hands!

of course, it would be best to play offline poker tournaments because it is better and more enjoyable to play and most importantly the atmosphere itself, but everyone can play and travel to play and play time to play now, and thus have mobile phones and so on to play online because of this, online poker has become very popular, so now many people choose online poker

I am used to playing turbo tournaments online so when I play live it feels like I am playing in slow motion and I overplay hands that I should have folded just to get some poker action to wake me up.

I don't prefer none of these. Both of these have its beauty.Online poker is more rational, because a poker machine deals according to how you play. While in live poker more important the recognition of the opponents, plus the luck factor is stronger too.

Playing live poker is unparalleled, it's something unique and special. But hey, since the pandemic, we all had to get used to playing online because there was no other way. But I think there are also people who like to play online.

I agree with you, but I do not let it control my live game, where I have been successful for the most part.
