on players that assume an insult, it is not needed in general to pay attention, I mean on speech, on words.and on the other hand, if they behave so, then maybe will accomplish errors that can be to you advantageous for victory!!!

but sometimes in cash game the situation comes to such an extent that I prefer to retire and charge than to keep playing

The sites I play on allow me to close the chat box or mute all players. Maybe there are sites where this is not possible?

The most obnoxious players online are usually fish. I'd be happy to play a whole table full of them.

For online, I just block their chat or just ignore it.
When it's someone mad that I'm beating them, I secretly enjoy it.

If it was in a Cardschat Freeroll, you can send a PM to Tammy and the player can be removed from the Freeroll Club.

If in a "normal" Poker table, sincerely... the poker site (PS,888, ACR, etc) support probably will ignore you.

I think they use their obnoxious behavior as a strategy to throw players off their game ,to make them play hands they shouldn't be playing. It's the Mike Matesow strategy.
I know it's worked on me many times, and still does. I try to ignore them, but it's hard. I should just turn off the chat.

I like playing against players like that because they’re easily tilted and you can get them to gift you big chucks of their stack. I find it amusing that they’ll get that upset. If you see someone doing this it is a good indication that they aren’t a strong player.

In online poker this will always happen the solution for now is to just ignore...

Also you can always report to the poker sites support rooms about the situation and they will take action
because a poker room first priority is to give comfortable gameplay to all....
(Dont forget to take screenshot or take videos if u are in the situation)

Also you can post here in CC if you ever face something like this and we can discuss it and also we can all together report to the poker site suport room about the person..
Lets say 1 email per person and we sent about 100 or more then surely they the poker rooms will look into the situation...

Dont feel too low we are together we will always help each other 👊

This is the reality of this times. People can be very rude, sometimes they can show no respect just without no reason. Especially often this happens in online poker, where you can say anything you want and you understand, that usually you will pay nothing for this rude words.

When I started playing, it really irritated me. In fact, it upset my game. I even believe that some people use this as a strategy to destabilize the opponent. Today I do this, I ignore them.

On many occasions I leave the chat off, for reasons similar to these you mentioned, in most cases players do this to get you out of concentration, when it happens the best way to do is to stay off in the chat

trying to chat or explain something to such kind of people in chatroom is a waste of your time, time where you must to be concentrated only on the game! never see good players do this. anyway, when you sent some sweet word to person who insult you its didnt kill you :top:

Well it is very difficult in live games. I get tilted every time someone i busted from the tournament says: "just look at who has my chips" when I make some mistake... Not only do i go on tilt for mistaking, i get tilted by comments from someone who called all in with 66 on the flop of AJT!
Anyways, online its not a problem, the game is faster so I don't even see some of the insults, and it matters less cause you probably will not stumble upon the same player again

I ususally ignore these people, just as I would in a real life setting. They are just trying to get your goat. In Pokerstars you used to be able to call an observer and they would deal would deal with that type of person. Sometimes their chat would be blocked, but I don't know if that can happen any more.
