Just a nonsense in my opinion.

Play the cards in front of you and the villains at your table with the best information you have.

The deck does not remember what happened in your last hand, nor does it know how many buy ins up or down you are for the session.

A rush or a heater is just what we would call running for a given amount of time above EV or getting dealt a series of hole cards that are better than expected for a certain time. Playing your hands/specific situations any differently because of this perceived invulnerability would just be -VE.

I personally love rush. Normally, I'm a pretty conservative player; the downside of that is that folding repeatedly can get extremely boring, however with rush I can play conservatively and still not be bored out of my skull.

Excuse me for asking, but what exactly is rush...I'm assuming it has to do with (from what starting_at_the_bottom said) having a run of great cards.

Doyle Brunson says that when he's on a run(rush), he will play ATC till the run ends. Obviously he's talkin live play & obviously he's Doyle Brunson & the rest of us are not, still, worth thinkin about.

Rush is a type of poker on Full Tilt, Poker Stars call it Zoom.

Are we to assume you're talking about a 'rush' as a run of good cards/luck? If so, the simple answer is, it's bullshit.

Lets wait for the OP then, I am sure I have interpreted it correctly bit in any case this is why semi-litterate posters should learn proper forum manners.

Im almost 100% positive he is NOT talking about the game mode Rush in FTP. Why would we not "buy into" or "believe, in other words" the game mode Rush? lol

Just in case you weren't aware or anyone else who may not be - "the rush", or "a rush" is the same thing as a heater.
Not sure what manners has to do with it - just a misunderstanding on someone's part.

Like I have said before. i only play my cards and game. nothing fancy,no rush riding, just boring old text book poker lol. I think when you get into the habit of thinking u are on a rush you will tend to lose more money than just playing solid poker.

Rush is the same as zoom cash game on PokerStars, rush is om FullTilt. The thing is that you are swiching the table after every hand you play, moving on to the next table. When you fold your cards, you are automatically reseated on another table and you don't have to wait for that hand to end, after you fold you are getting new cards on new table and so round and around.

No, read the thread again.

There is no hope for some people, even when its spelt out for them!

We always conduct a poll as to what OP actually meant - even if it was spelled out for us.
All those in favor....

really playing the rush is like hitting a guy in the nose. if the other players back off a bit because they think you are lucky or on a rush or because you are good you might get more no calls on the turn and river than usual , but dont forget what your doing and get invinceable mentality.
