What do you mean by the duration of the game?
Cache tables 9-max usually play 60-70 hands per hour.

usually a fight lasts very long,depends on what game speed you have set ,but I think not more than an hour

If you mean how long the tournament lasts for 9 people Sit & go tournament - then about an hour maybe a little longer, and if it's a cash game then you can play and all day in the cash game !

It depends on the speed of the tournament and how quickly the blinds increase. In a sng tournament of 9 players turbo lasts average 40min although it can always be more or less

Pokerstars tells you in the game lobby. For example, the 9 person $1.50 Turbo Sit & Go should run 32 to 48 minutes as below. I've been playing them and the timing seems pretty accurate.

If however by face-to-face you mean 'live'/in-person/at a casino, do they even have ones with only 9 players (other than cash games which could last a very long time)? I don't play at casinos, but would be interested in knowing if some do actually have the equivalent of a sit & go.
