please help me with ideas on 140 player tournament

I have won many tournaments with 60 players Ive won many tournaments with 100 players starting with 4000 chips at the casino. But I can't seem to do any good playing 140 players 500 dollar freeroll on merge network. I have about a week left of these freerolls and I would like to cash a few times any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

First, the more people the harder it is going to cash. Play tight early and let the donks kill each other then open it up. I haven't play any of these on merge but the freerolls I've played with appox 140+/- they tend to be massive luck fest. People playing any two cards. Good Luck.

i have then same problem but i hav had some wins with over 2600 and 500 ppl but dont win that often best thing to do is play your game let the donks get shot down and keep your composure and play the best you can if youdont wi least you no tha you have played a good game and can still have some occoplisment in yourself.

i take it that thats the new depositers freeoll i came like 6th in that but i shudder 1 it i was like 4x more chips than anyone else but th blinds creep up to fast and ppl just being stupid and cracked my aa i got so card dead after a while its just the luck of the cards and hope the poker gods are with you

numbers in an mtt only affect mostly the blind levels and time, imo you still don't play with that many players...it's not like you are single handedly playing all those people and you can;t think that way, play one hand at a time, also don't forget, a real money live game and a free roll online can hugely differ in play.

I would also assume the blinds increase faster online too, and probably a smaller starting stack online as well. Way different in play, can't even compare the two really. GL

I have the opposite problem. I've won the Bodog 5000 man $500 tourney twice and I can't even get a sniff of the money in my weekly 25 man tourney.

I think I'm going to make a deposit on the merge and get the two weeks of the 500 dollar freerolls,,, does anyone know if I make a deposit on carbon, play the two weeks, then make a deposit on reefer, and get another two weeks on reefer??

I higly doubt that would work, but I don't have any experience trying.
