I don't know, when I see a guy hustling Apps that probably don't cost a tremendous amount of money to develop, and charging $2500 per year to access that App, I feel like that person is probably scamming/ripping people off.

I feel that person, might not understand that money is hard to come by for most people, and that his time probably isn't worth the extreme mark up he is charging for it lol.

You see these same scammy(esq) sites, in many areas of life.

-'be a guitar god if you take this 30 day class'
-'learn how to make thousands per month day trading with this 2 week course'
-'learn how to be an affiliate marketing guru and make millions within a year'
-'get rock solid abs in 2 months by following this super secret plan that your doctor doesn't want you to know about for some reason'

List goes on and on. I feel like these guys are taking advantage of the gullible/desperate charging these prices for a service like this.

Maybe I am not understanding something, but seems pretty ridiculous to me.

It's the same generic formula used everywhere and they're all selling a magic answer or miracle shortcut that doesn't actually exist.

Often one of the first things they do is try to reel you in with a "free training seminar or session" which is nothing more than a pie-in-the-sky sales pitch. When you buy the basic coaching package, you find out that it consists almost entirely of upselling and is loaded with "secrets that you can't unlock" unless you buy the more expensive package which is also loaded with upselling and the scam continues.

Stock and options trading is absolutely infested with this garbage and so is real estate investing - if somebody really developed an algorithm or software package that would produce returns of 20-40% per year regardless of markets moving up or down, they wouldn't be selling it for $495. They would literally kill to keep it a secret. It's also a common psychological trick to massively overcharge for something because "if it's that expensive then it must actually be worth it."

If you want to become really, really good at something, poker included, it takes years of dedicated study and effort and there are NO shortcuts.

@Rockyfour You are right, there's a lot of scammers nowadays, they think people are idiots, they abuse of persuasive texts, but is easy to know they are lying.
@Propane Goat I agree with your comment
