Pocket Aces

I often get nervous with AA - even preflop. The reason for this is because I get nervous that I won't win the hand because I know how strong it is

You should play them differently based on position, your opponents, and your table image. No matter what i will always raise preflop with them...if im gonna get beat with aces im gonna make em pay some bb's to see the flop lol

I play AA *completely* dependent on those around me. In a tourney, if big stack is bullying and plays later, I call and let him do the work for me. In heads up it can win the whole thing for you if you play it right. It all depends on how those around you react to when you call or raise. Use AA as a chance to mix things up if needed. If you are stealing blinds with nothing (and people are figuring that out) and you're in position to do so with AA, make those same plays. It just might be the time someone gets fed up and reraises you. After the smack down, you can expect many more stolen blinds to come. It's like the hand that keeps on paying well into the future. But it always depends on those around you. You have to anticipate what they are wanting/trying to do to you, and use it against them. BTW, that includes recognizing that the whole table is beginners who are not really considering your hand, just their own hands. AA against 6 opponents is not that great, so you would have to keep that in mind as well. The beauty of poker, right?

Aces are the best hand....preflop. You can slow play aces and hope no one hits anything higher than one pair. It's a greater risk, but you get paid off big time. You can raise a lot, but you might not get action and however you won't lose anything either. My aces have been cracked many times by trips and straights. Problems is that I have a hard time folding them.

I love AAs... they are beautiful... but they have also let me down a few times... and it's painful to see them get crushed.

it really comes down to the type of players on your table... if they are aggressive or tight... how big your chip stack is compared to the rest of the players...

that could mean you should move all in with them... if your stack is smaller then the rest... and got a few aggressive players at the table...

if the table is pretty tight, then you might just want to raise it to 3 times the big blind... and even still you might get some people to fold...

now the percentage is at 100% with this hand...

but after the flop... it could drastically come down... since you need 1 of the remaining 2 As for a 3 of a kind... otherwise, drawing hands such as straights, flushes, even two pair can crush them...
