the other night i watched a tourney on tv and poker pro David Slanski>i think that is his name> got pocket aces three <<thats 3>> hands in a row i wonder what the odds for that

i just re-watched poker super stars again anyone that wants to see pocket aces watch the third elimination match >>slanksky got pocket aces five (5) times and cindy violet got them 2 or 3 times in the match>> i never seen so many good pocket cards in my life

well..odds of getting pocket aces is 220 to 1

to get AA four hands in a row, the odds are 2,385,443 to 1

It probaly wasnt three hands in a row they probaly just showed it that way.

I'm never totally comfortable pocket aces ...always end up getting bit by them:hmpf:...whether they are in my hand or someone elses :argh:...but did play a sit'n'go where the pocket rockets came across bout 8 times in 10 hands

I saw that, that was crazy he also goto pkt aces a few hands later. I wish I had his luck. What are the odds there were 9 people at the table at the time right?

I got naild yesterday with:ad4: :ac4: I raised half my stack pre flop and got called. The on the flop :8h4: :kc4: :10s4: came up and I went all in and got called she had:kh4: :10c4: I was so mad. I think aces make people make poor choices, and I think any pkt pair make some people make poor choices...like the person who has 3's and calls you all the way and you have the high two pair...I like them.:rock:

dont know why you people are complaining about getting beaten on A-A

you do realize its not an unbeatable hand. Every poker player has lost with A-A at some point.

its a good hand, but too be shocked that you actually lost just because you had ace-ace is kinda naive.
