How do you say the pocket pairs? What are the names of the pocket pairs?
For example. I say 22 like the ducks. JJ like umbrellas. 44 I say the boats. 88 like the jumps. AA are the rockets...
And you? How do you say all the pocket pairs? Tell us.

I don't have special names for pocket pairs. I call them what they are.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood the author's topic.😰

Then I'll agree with the fact that I don't call them in any way: since I don't speak English, it's easier for me to write numbers or letters (AA, TT, 22).

Hello forum!
I know that there are names for every couple, and there are a lot of them, as many people prefer different names in their circles.
But I don't use them. It's easier for me to write AA, QQ. So everything will be even clearer)

I don't usually say the slang names (usually just say "pocket" and then the cards like "pocket Aces", "Pocket Kings" and so on). If I had to choose a slang name for each pocket pair, this is my preference:
AA - Pocket Rockets
KK - Cowboys
QQ - Ladies
JJ - Fish Hooks
TT - TNT (like explosives)
99 - Barbara Feldon (Agent 99 on the 1965 comedy show Get Smart)
88 - Snowmen
77 - Hockey Sticks
66 - Highway (Route 66 iconic highway across USA)
55 - Nickels
44 - Sailboats
33 - Crabs
22 - Ducks

Hockey sticks é cool. There are people who also call AA Cape Canaveral. :)

They still have an unfavorable stat against them (laughs)... They're not invincible against the bads, the AA kryptonites. (laughs)
