Is poker a game of luck or skill?

I always feel like I'm unlucky. In a strong hand, I always lose 7/10 even though my opponent only has 4-5 cards left

Poker is gambling with luck and skill. You can be a good player but still loose badly to a worse player. That’s why I love no limit and hate it all at the same time.

I couldn't agree, it's deffo about luck and skill. You can be as skilled as you want, but if poker God decides no decent flops offer you or you pocket pairs are gonna fail everytime.

skill is more valuable in poker than luck, but you can't win poker without luck, so there should be two features in one person. If you're a good poker player and you have luck, you'll win and this will happen more often than just a strong poker player without luck so try to be a strong poker player and may luck always be with us

Of course skill is more important, maybe you can win some with luck, but in a million hands the luck doesn't exist. Anyway if 2 players has the same level then the luck could be differential.

I would say more skill than luck. A very skilled person usually obtains good results on average.
I feel that the problem comes when there are several people with a similar level, then luck takes precedence. At least that's how I see it 😶

Poker requires more skill and strategy than luck, but luck will always be there. You need skills that's for sure. But you need luck also. If you can't get paid with some of your big hands and you can't get the other to fold with tour bluff, it's impossible to win
