Definately a hobby.

Allthough, through out the years, I have won a few dollars at the tables, it is a hobby for me.
I play the small games, and alway try to find a game with weak players. If I find a player that appears to be good at the skill, I immediatly go to another game.

For me it is a mix between the two, since the more I learn and improve my game, the more I like it, and the more I love the game.

For me it's both. Now that I'm retired, I have the time to devote to the game to learn and improve at a player, I enjoy it. The habit is playing nightly 4 or 5 times a week. The passion is to play well and beat "the other guy".

poker is great, a game where you have to be 100% focused and where psychology can make a difference when it comes to winning, for me it's a hobby and also a passion.
