I enjoy live for tournaments, cash games are equal. . In a live tournament, you usually can't just join another tournament in seconds. People play better and the game is more fun without that safety net.

Whether you play poker online or live, it’s almost the same. Players in both games bet, bluff and sometimes acquire bad bets. You will undoubtedly see the essence of traditional poker in today’s mobile casinos. Still, there are a few differences that can’t go unnoticed.

Difference between online and live poker

Online poker is known to be quicker than live poker. Most people who like to play online discovered that live games are too tedious to manage. In a live poker game, you will be handling around 30 hands per hour in a no-limit cash game. Whereas, in online poker, you will get 60 hands or more per hour at a given table, and a lot more in shorthanded games.

Another significant difference is that during live poker, you can read the body language of other players quite and get an idea about their strategies. However, in online poker, the only information you get is the timing as the other player is not visible to you.

The reason I chose online poker is that it is more dynamic!!!

Alex.

Hello to all. I can't compare playing online with offline. Since I only play online, I never play offline at a casino. It will probably be very difficult for me, because playing with a computer, I have more information about the tournament and about the players.

The two modalities present great differences, even if it is the same game. I end up practicing more online, as the availability of live tournaments in my region is relatively small, although my live performance is better.
First of all, in these tournaments you are face to face with your opponents. This way, it is easier to analyze the opponents' movements and make more correct decisions.
Also, there aren't as many distractions compared to online events.

I love em both, I can't get enough of the live action at the poker rooms or the casinos. And the online thing is a whole different world so its a different type of playing. Good luck and remember to have fun while you're crushin it.

I have never tried to play live, but there are plans ahead. For example, play in some kind of main event and get there through an online satellite.

I love playing online and I only play at home. The surrounding atmosphere is very important to me, so my apartment is the most comfortable place for me.

I play online, there is no way to choose and sit down with friends at the table. Viruses are to blame.

Used to play offline until the pandemic hits, but I think I'm going to stay online for now. It's safer and I get to play with those HUDs

Live poker vs online poker

Good morning everyone, in my opinion online poker is for making money and live poker is more a game to have fun, for the reason that in online poker you can play several screens at the same time and in live poker you will only be able to play at a table and each hand takes much longer than live poker. I'm not sure but I believe that in live poker 20 or 25 hands are played every hour, you have to have a lot of patience, if you imagine staying at the table for 2 hours waiting for good cards. I started playing poker at the end of 2018, and so far I've only played live poker once, and I really enjoyed it, it's a lot of fun, especially if you're playing with friends.
