I've also tried to, and turned it off after 10-12 minutes. Haven't seen a good movie since early 2000s.
I've recently discovered interesting fact about 12 monkey movie that I used to watch many years ago and watched it again recently... The movie is not about the global pandemic and not about time travelling to save the planet... It's all about making terrorists out of normal people... The whole story was about a secret prison where people been held in torturing conditions and always on drugs and they've been told that "the earth is poisoned, that there was a virus, and one hero can save the planet by travelling back in time to kill some professor" It was shocking for me.

I have just finished watching some of it. Poker is non-existent in it, it is more of a thriller.

I’ll take a watch because it seems poker related but I never really been a fan of Russel Crowe I never have rated his acting …. I don’t wish to offend anyone by saying this

I studied some info about this movie and my conclusion is that I won't watch it as I doubt it's gonna be a good movie

My watch list of movies is already pretty long to watch some doubtful candidates.

I will only add, for those of you who might not know, Russel is not only the main actor here, but also he is a director!

I've watched the movie yesterday and honestly I was a bit disappointed: it's not much of a drama about life, poker... a bit of crime and betrayal but IMO no action... in the end I've gave the movie 6/10- an OK movie but you won't remember it for too long...

I'll recommend this poker documentary instead of this movie, that I somehow found on YouTube and it's actually poker related and it's IMO an interesting movie that some poker players from this site might relate too and/ or learn a few things:

Watched this movie the other day, it's ok, but I wouldn't describe it as a 'poker movie' - more of a movie with a little poker in it.
