Having been lucky enough to get a big win I will say its one hell of an incredible feeling. Its also a very rare thing and may only happen once or twice in a carer. When it happens enjoy that moment.

I agree the big win is what I dream about, but the steady cash-outs are what keep me at the tables right now. Don't get me wrong I am not the best at bankroll management, but I am steady making cashes at the tourneys I play. Many times I just win my buy-in back plus a few dollars, but the amount of time learning the game is very rewarding. I figure just making it that far every time increases my chances of a bigger payday every time. Sometimes it does come down to a all-in call where you are way ahead in the hand only to get knocked out with a runner runner. That is poker I guess, but playing the odds consistently should level out the wins/losses over the longer course of one's career. Bottom line we all play to win, but all can't be winners.

It is fun if you avoid the bad beats

but jokes aside I think there is no reason to play this game if it's for the money only. I like the thrill the emotions, yeah sometimes it's sucks but overall I get the fun out of it.
