The poker is a funny, but this game give us price if we win.
So do you start for fun or for money?

I play for both, fun and money. I want to practice so I play better and better. It would be nice to win a bigger amount one day because than I could have money for something what I normally not have. Taking place in a bigger tournament would be nice. I know I couldn't reach the final table because of not playing so good and bad beats but if the prizepool is high it might still make sense.

I love playing, it is so much fun. The more I learn the more fun it is so even if I got really good and made money I think it would just be even more FUN!

Of course thats my hobby. Poker + gambling, only for fun. Dont try to think that it can be your job cause its easy to lose all money in shot time [A] peace!

I think online poker is more fun than a job. I think it`s too risky to hit for money, or this is what my mom thinks. I often wanted to deposit little amounts like 100$, but my mom thinks you only can loose the money and she thinks it`s not a good idea to try. I think if she won`t have been against deposit, I would have lost some money to online poker. I sometimes win some freeroll money, but never have won so much that I benefit from this.

Poker for me, nothing more than fun.In this game, I just have a rest after a hard day's work and forget about all the problems.A nice bonus when you hit into the prize pool.Poker for me to become a source of profit , when it will bring me more money than the main work.While this is not the case , I just play for fun

Professional poker players are playing at high limits and we all just poker enthusiasts. on this forum I've never met a player who plays for high stakes. poker for me - it's logical game and a small chance to win a million)

Frankly speaking, everyone plays poker for his pleasure, but I'm such a group of people who combine work with pleasure and they do it well. Playing poker they get from the games fun and good profit. I play poker for more fun.

Thought this would be a great place for my first post.

The main reason to play poker for me is the fun aspect, the second is to make a money on the side until I become a better player. It's trying at times but that makes it all worth the time and effort.

Most people are playing for fun, very few win and even less win enough to make a living from it. For most people poker is just great and relatively cheap entertainment (depending on what stakes you donk around at obviously).

I would say both. I play because I like it , it amuses me . And also always play to win money if I bet something , I want to win more than bet or at least regain that bet . So I'd say both.

Lets just say that poker work as a leisure thing when we're bored and at the same time a job simply because lucky player gets to win big by playing poker.
