Pressing the buttons in the casino is a gambling game. In poker, as in any game, there are tactics and strategy. If you have knowledge, you will get results.

Yes I agree. Short distance poker is luck. One won tournament is not an indicator of a good level of play.

Poker is not just betting, you have to beat your opponent even if you have the worst hand and that is called strategy

You said it yourself, he won a tournament with luck, nothing more...

Luck only works in the short term, in the long term it dissipates and only those who have skill remain.

Think about it.

The Lucky fator only speaks in the short term.. if you get only one tournament, even the big ones, yes, luck is there.. but when you see a few names always there there would need to be one BIG bucket of luck for those guys, so, skills are way more impacting on their results then luck.. BTW.. poker is not winning all games, but profiting in the most part of it..
