Hair loss can be due to many reasons: lack of vitamins, stressful situations, heredity. If you are very worried while playing poker, then this may be the reason for your hair loss, but I still think that the reason is different.

1. He stopped playing for fear of becoming bald, and then accepted that poker had nothing to do with hair loss

2. He kept playing and found another reason for hair loss.

Just look at Chris Ferguson's beautiful hair to know that poker is innocent of that accusation!

Genes probably have more to do with it. I've played high stakes off and on since my twenties and I still have a full crop of hair in my sixties. It did start turning gray in my thirties, though. But so did my dad's.
