Hello, the first thing you should consider is what you expect from poker to improve your life, if you are like most people, which is money, then yes, because poker in a single tournament can change your financial life, and in order not to lose everything, have a good management of your bank account. It's the best strategy against other players, you can be a great strategist or a player with great skills but if you're not a player who knows how to manage his bank roll you'll lose.

Yes, poker, like any gambling game, can enrich you, but much more often it will make you a beggar. Of course, you need to play for money that you don't mind losing, but it doesn't always work out. Yesterday I read another article about a man who lost his apartment in a casino. It is not necessary to reach this point, you need to restrain yourself with all your might, and if it does not work out, then it is better not to play at all.

Hello everyone. Definitely, in my opinion, it can improve! For example, I have noticed that I transfer some gaming aspects into real life and it helps me more psychologically than mathematically (I just haven't encountered a problem to apply this side yet). And this is just one of the points, there can be more - so yes, poker can improve my life. And the example of losing in a casino - if you can't stop and don't notice your tilt (and most likely it's just addiction - gambling addiction, that's how this diagnosis sounds to me), then you have serious problems, and you need to seek friendship with a psychologist!!!

For me, poker is just entertainment. I don't stress much during the game and I don't think that poker requires high intelligence. I think poker first of all requires patience and discipline, and of course you need mathematics at the level of the 3rd grade of school :)

Because poker depend of probability and luck if you don’t manage your emotions and bankroll, your life doesn’t improve.

How it can get worse, it just depends on how you deal with it and whether you follow the management.

You don't have to think at all and have nothing to lose. You just need to not play for money then.:)

Poker is a wide range of emotions and an opportunity to earn money to realize your long-time plans. I even try to drag my friends into the poker community, let them try their luck

It might help, but if you make a lot of money, otherwise it can hurt you.

Certainly if you win big it could theoretically change your life. Chris Moneymaker being a good example. An outsider who went on to win the world series of poker. It depends on what value you put on money per we. Some people may enjoy the game itself and that to them may improve their life. You could make friend in live games too if you don’t always play online.

Whether you can improve it depends on your point of view; It has helped me financially because the money I earn complements my regular job, so I think it can improve it.

know when to fold em and when to hold em one of the main principles of poker is to always lose the minimum possible accepting defeat and not digging yourself a bigger / deeper hole. this can be applied to many aspect of like outside of poker. can i get an amen?

It depends, it can help your life or make it worse if you don't have a head, anything that involves money can help or harm
