No different than 'does it start with Q,R,S?' And we've seen lots of those type q's. Not to mention that if it is one, and only one of those, the answer would be yes.

No. as the question is too vague, there are lots of things that can be a response to an action but imo this isn't.

Maybe Larky can chime in with a response.

It is far better to post a concrete question rather than a conceptual one. In the this example, instead of "is this word a kind of response to other action?", the better question would be "is it a raise?" or "fold" or any other specific type of response to another's action.

And the answer is no.

Regarding vagueness.

The whole notion of this 'game' is to take the vagueness out of it. So when you think a question is vague, think about the question 'Does the answer start with any letter between A and M?' while that may be an easy yes or no, it still leaves the solution very vague.

Once there are multiple vague answers in either the yea or nay category, we will seek the intersection and the correct answer.

Since you say it is an action, but not check, raise or fold, the only action left is;

Is it your buy-in?

Re the vagueness, after certain yes answers the questions need to be more direct.

X(26) signified the start of the round, per DJ's post above. X(26) is not related to the puzzle answer.

Can someone chime in with the interval rule? I think it was 2 hours, but it may have changed.

The prize is now increased to $11, for the first question to receive a "yes" answer, because dj11 includes the number 11, and because my best friend and I believe 11 is a lucky number.

Besides blushing at some perceived flattery, I think we need to do away with that 2 hour thing. It has pretty much crippled the excitement this thread could achieve.

30 minutes should be long enough. Neither the originator of each puzzle, nor any of us who follow can afford the time involved in waiting 2 hours between guesses.
