Sometimes we've needed to give little hints to get people on/back on the right track. Whether or not to do that is totally up to you (or you can consult with Lark if you want a second opinion).

Also, Bear has offered before, and I will as well, that if Lark isn't available and you want to check with one of us about hints/answers-- I'm happy to take myself out of the current round and help you out.

It has been REALLY hard to predict what will be easy and what will be hard with this game. We've had rounds where we thought we'd have the answer within minutes and it took days. And the reverse, I guess, was just proved by this round (I never would have guessed it myself).

Part of what makes this game so fun!

With so many people participating, I can see how the 'toughies' might not seem so tough. I thought maybe this one had been done before, but wasn't going to read through the 12k+ posts to find out..lol

Bells....guess it's though overall, but a few bull's eye questions might send us in the right direction...
To me it was...person ? yes.....alive ? no....player anyways ? mhhmmm...some doubt...
That made me think it was rather an organizer than a player...

In the first or second post, someone was actually tracking each round with what the word/phrase was. It was a handy chart of what had already been done so we wouldn't repeat an answer and also so that we could get an idea about what types of answers had already been posted.

Maybe I'll go through the thread and collect them and send them to Lark (or Bear-- can you edit the original post) so that we can keep this up-to-date. It helps.

Another option, Shel, is that each thread has a search option. So at least you could search the thread for the answer you are thinking about and see if it has been used before.

I could start but with the CC-games starting within a few minutes, and because it's evening here (so time to go asleep soon) I won't be able to find the time to answer any questions I'm afraid....
I suggest you all wait till tomorrow for a new jeopardy....It'll give me time to think about one and inform Lark about it.....
Meanwhile I'll also think about an original price for the next winner...
Does that sound reasonable to all of you ?

I have just spent (probably too much) time going through this whole thread to make a chart of all the winners/answers so far. I realize that my OCD is showing!

I may just have to do it again to post the list of my favorite questions/derails in the thread. You guys are brilliant!

But, for the first task, see below. Maybe someone (Lark??? Bear???) can post this image in the first post of this thread. I think it's a helpful chart but I'm not sure how to keep it updated.
