What do you think about this thread?
I've read to much about poker strategy, but the luck is not with me lately at the table.

I was being tight at my live poker tournament the other day and made a raise against the chip leader after showing a tight fold. When it came down to it, he lucked out on a flush draw against flopped trips all in on the flop. Moral of the story, you can have a strategy for the game but luck will always prevail.

I think that luck make part of the game but a skill player can do much better than playing with :as4::ah4: :kd4::ks4: :qd4::qh4:

Skill will get you in better position in the long run.
However, luck will knock you out or bring you up in an instant.

The biggest skill that you can develop is knowing when to fold and when to push with weaker hands, it'll take you far.

Both, luck in short term and skill in long term.

Once I decided to play for good luck. I chose dubious hands and put all-in. I caught with 84о a full-house. Etc. But when it's time to play in the pre-final, I still began to play neatly.

Strategy and luck are two integral parts of poker. But I think that success prevails over strategy, since strategy depends on us, and luck from the Almighty!

Luck or Strategy in Poker

When it comes to Poker it is a delicate dance between luck and strategy that shall make anyone rise at the table.

Yeah , luck plays a crucial part , but without strategy you cannot win , strategy , range of cards , how much aggressive you play in each game/stage/table , over or under estimate these factors and luck won't be able to help you by itself , you will lose if you fail to find the right way to play each game . You cannot play the same way a bounty builder and a normal tournament , different strategy .

For me, poker is up to you. You can not let yourself be shaken by the psychological, you can do everything, you just have to believe in yourself! Skill is essential, luck sometimes we have to rely on it, but we must request it as little as possible

Without experience, a poker battle is doomed and lost a matter of time. One luck is not enough to show high results and earn on your favorite game. Training and again training. Only with this approach can you claim the result.:playingba:rolleyes:

Luck can save you or bring you down in single situation but if you have good strategy you will be winner in a long term. Constant improvement of your game and will to learn is the key to long term success.

The strategy gives its advantages when playing poker for long periods of time.
On short stretches, a very strong influence is exerted by luck.

You can lose a many hands as a result of bad luck. One time I read that researchers wasn't saw "much difference" in the final amounts of money that the pro-players accrued compared with the non-pro, with the implication that skill level didn’t have much effect on the outcome. They argued that poker is a game of luck. Luck or Skills, I deserve a litle bit of luck (please)!

You can do everything right, check, raise, 3bet, have the
best starting hand but if luck is not on your side you will
never get ahead in poker.

I think the strategy of 90 percent and luck 10, respectively . Another discipline is one of the pillars of a good game.
