Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if there's anything you in particular are very annoyed by something other players do on a table, whether it is online or live poker.

For me it would have to be when you're on the bubble or facing a ladder on a FT and someone moves in with a very short stack (1/2BB) and you call with a caller behind. Then the other person who called tries to bluff you out of the pot with mediocre holdings and thus allowing the short stack to double when you would have won the hand and eliminated the player.

Online I get frustrated by excessive tanking from extremely short stacks in MTTs trying to make it to another pay jump. I understand that they are trying to maximize their payout but it leads to tons of time being wasted sometimes!

I'm always annoyed with only one thing.
that at the table there are always people who do not want to learn to play well
they just come into play throw all the chips into the center of the table relying only on luck.
but I also feel sorry for them. in the future they will not be worthy opponents to real players.

I hate it when the poker site has technical issues that affect the game. This has happened more than once in recent months with ACR.

I don't like it when other people try to tell you how to play your hand. Each person has their own hand to play. Play your hand and let other people play their hand the way they want to.

Mine would be money bubble aswell.. all the small stakes run down the timers.. extremely frustrating.. plus after the bubble burst feels like a freeroll again all the smalls all in most hands for a quick double up

That player that plays and shoves every single hand. They suck the fun right out of the game. They may get ahead for awhile, but they rarely win, someone always out draws them.

In online games I don't like people who use the time bank on every hand.
Are they trying to figure out EV with a calculator?

When people run down their entire shot clock and fold hoping for a miniscule ladder and not trying to make the final table or win.

People who open limp then call a 3 bet or even a jam in a multi way pot.

People who min raise 5th into the pot and make everyone go around and call 1 more blind when they already have 4 or 5 in.

Making it heads up or even 3 or 4 handed and everyone is sitting with a deep stack like 50BB+ yet they will only shove and not play any post flop.

I refrain from mentioning sites by name, got a reminder from admin, Cchat rules consider it advertising; It does seem that at some rooms with tech issues the screen tracking a tourney can go haywire, so that your holdings at the table don't correspond with what the tourney tracker says. Very annoying not really knowing where you stand, vis a vis other players, making it up or down the ladder of the tourney.

I don't like to hear players berate others for the way they played their hand. For example, being abusive in the chat or, when live, complaining to the whole table about how the opponent is an idiot, cursing at the opponent, etc.

That is so true. I end up shouting at my screen that's it's hand for hand so why are they playing for time?

I agree about not liking abusive chat. It got so bad I just turned my chat off permanently on every site to avoid the distraction.

Players that tank every hand in both cash games and tourneys. Both live and online when it's a small pot, probably easy decision, or even just a check and it's their turn to act. But even more annoying...the tank/shove. These players run down the time bank and then suddenly shove. I don't know if they're trying to be fancy/showboating, trying to "balance their timing tells" by tanking every hand while playing micro stakes. Come on!

I get annoyed when someone is an observer on the table just to ask for the password. I want to tell them: If you don't have the password, you're either 1) too lazy to look it up or 2) you haven't qualified to get the password, so stop asking!

Either way, I'm not giving it out!

People who limp premium hands because they are scared of facing a 3 bet.
People who limp premium hands because they thinkg it is "mixing it up their game" or "being tricky".

My biggest Pet Peeve in live games is slow rolling. If you have the hand just table it and move on.

In tournament play I can't stand it when short stack all-in and there are 5 players in front 4 call and the last shoves which makes the other 4 fold and then short stack wins because of his idiot shove.
When this happens, I always hope that shove idiot gets knocked out on the bubble.
