Online bet timing

Some people online take 20+ seconds to make a move, others bet or check within 3 seconds. Are there certain advantages to one over the other?

I totally agree, maintaining a discipline in the game is fundamental, you can know a lot about strategies and game statistics, but if you do not know how to control the emotional factor in the game you will always end up losing!

I think psychology is important in live poker. Math is more important in online poker

hello, if psychology is very important in poker, it's more when we have bad beats, one must recover quickly, but if we're playing a tournament, if I study is very important. also to know how your opponent plays.

Tilt, and keeping emotion out of the game, is my biggest hurdle. I read up, and constantly have to work on this. Especially if I am tired.

I love setting up a psychological edge at the table. The problem is online, I often get transferred to another table before getting the best of it.
