I perfectly combine poker with football, or vice versa. Nothing prevents this, especially if you play in tournaments. During poker, I make decisions in a fraction of a second, so football does not interfere.

Yeah, I play a lot of Poker while watching sports! And I find it helpful to distract my mind and play it more rational instead of getting emotional with a couple of hands.

I would listen to the game and play at the poker table at the same time. You don't need to focus on the game to watch or listen to football. I often listen to shows, music or documentaries while I'm playing poker.
