Poker Software

Has anyone paid money for some of the programs or software out there? Like shark scope or some of the other software you can attach to your room while u play? Also too I seen a sit and go program you can buy, am I better off sticking to books? If you've tried these, any of them and have any input I would like to hear about them.

lets c, ive read 2 vol. of hoh, 1 online poker book(brunson),i just bought helmuths play like a pro. any others that u know of that arent on that list let me know
